I had such a bad, emotional weekend that I decided to pamper myself and let myself eat chocolate. Not chocolate chocolate, but 2g-carbohydrate Atkins Advantage candy bars. It's a good thing I allowed myself to splurge a little, because I feel better today, got my sweets fix, AND I'm not horribly bloated today.

I also put on fake fingernails - two of which have already come off because they were crooked and poorly glued on. I'll get them back on tonight, but I'll actually put them on straight, how about that.

I had a half chicken Caesar salad for brunch from Harmon's. I love Harmon's because their deli has a ton of food that is healthy and pretty reasonably priced considering it's like buying healthy fast food. From the deli I got a grilled chicken breast and a quarter pound of asparagus for an early dinner, and the whole thing cost $3 compared to the $10 I'd pay for a similar meal at a restaurant. It'd still be cheaper to cook it myself, but cooking for one is SUCH a bummer. I'll probably cook more if I ever move in with P.

About the Eggbeater

I'm a recent college graduate, working three jobs, still attending classes for a second degree, and currently enrolled in a grueling LSAT prep course. I was born and raised in the Rocky Mountain area of the United States, and I live here with my family and 85-pound dog-ter.

I've always been kind of up-and-down with my weight: my lowest weight of all time was around 148 pounds, but didn't stay there for long. My highest weight in my entire life was 190 pounds, but I've been in the 170s for quite some time now.

Aside from being a motivating tool to garner results, this blog is an attempt to prove that even as a busy girl with three jobs, school, and a dog, I can find the time and motivation to make the Atkins lifestyle work for me.

My starting weight on 6/3/2010 was 176 lbs. My goal is 144.
